Winning the 2024 Best Statistical Love Village Award, BPS Katingan Regency and Banut Kalanaman Village Receive Awards

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Katingan Regency recorded another achievement in 2024 through the development of the Village of Love Statistics program. This time, the assisted village that achieved brilliant achievements was Banut Kalanaman Village, which managed to enter the top 25 best national villages. This village received an award from BPS RI which was signed directly by the Acting Head of BPS, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti. The award was handed over by the Head of Central Kalimantan Province BPS, Agnes Widiastuti, to BPS Katingan Regency and Banut Kalanaman Village on Monday (10/2) at the Banut Kalanaman Village Office.

The Village Love Statistics Program aims to increase statistical literacy, awareness, and the active role of village officials and the community in statistical activities. The Head of Banut Kalanaman Village delivered a speech followed by Agnes Widiastuti, who expressed high appreciation for this achievement. "Banut Kalanaman Village is the first village in Central Kalimantan Province to be included in the top 25 best national villages. Thank you to all parties involved. Hopefully this achievement will be a motivation for other villages, by continuing to update data on the website to share knowledge," said Agnes Widiastuti.

This success cannot be separated from collaboration between the Communications, Statistical Information and Encryption Services, Regional Government, as well as village officials and other related parties. With the support of various parties, it is hoped that Banut Kalanaman Village can maintain and improve this achievement in the future.
