Deflation of Palangka Raya 0.13 percent, Inflation of Sampit 0.27 percent

Abstract

Palangka Raya experienced deflation (0.13 percent) but Sampit inflation (0.27 percent). Both cities are ranked 50th and 8th highest inflation cities at the national level. Deflation in Palangka Raya was mainly influenced by a decrease in the price index in the foodstuffs group (1.05 percent) and clothing (0.33 percent). Inflation in Sampit was mainly influenced by the increase in the price index in the transportation, communication and financial services group (1.48 percent) as well as processed foods, beverages, cigarettes and tobacco (0.74 percent).

January 2023: Palangka Raya experienced inflation of 0.13 percent and Sampit experienced inflation of 0.11 percent

Palangka Raya Inflation 0.21 percent, Sampit 0.15 percent

During July 2018, inflation occurred in Palangka Raya (0.04 percent) and deflation in Sampit (0.06 percent).
