Abstract

• People working in \r\nKalimantan Tengah in August 2018 were 1,301.00 thousand people, an \r\nincrease of 78.29 thousand compared to August 2017.

• The August 2018 Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) was 4.01 percent, down by 0.22 percentage points compared to August 2017.

•\r\n Absorption of labor according to categories during August 2018 was \r\ndominated by the Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Category (38.37 \r\npercent), Large Trade and Retail, Car and Motorcycle Repair (17.74 \r\npercent) and Government, Defense and Social Security Required \r\nAdministration ( 6.72 percent).
