March 2020, the number of passengers in sea and air transportation dropped 14.02% and 13.90% respectively

Abstract

The frequency of ship visits in the ports of the Kalimantan Tengah region rose 1.11 percent, from 629 visits (February 2020) to 636 visits (March 2020).
The number of passengers via sea transportation decreased by 14.02 percent, from 21,553 people (February 2020) to 18,531 people (March 2020).
The flow of goods traffic through ships also dropped 20.99 percent, from 1.75 million tons (February 2020) to 1.38 million tons (March 2020).
Ship passenger activities are concentrated in Kumai (65.30 percent) and the volume of goods flow in Sampit (61.95 percent).
The frequency of flights dropped 7.20 percent, from 1,709 flights (February 2020) to 1,586 flights in March 2020).
The number of passengers via air transportation fell 13.90 percent, from 119,908 people (February 2020) to 103,239 people (March 2020).
The flow of goods traffic through the air dropped 8.71 percent, from 1,332 tons (February 2020) to 1,216 tons (March 2020).
