Abstract

Of the 90 cities monitored by the national CPI, 34 cities experienced inflation and 56 cities experienced deflation during June 2021. The highest deflation occurred in Kupang (0.89 percent) and the highest inflation in Singkawang (1.36 percent). Palangka Raya is ranked 26th city of inflation, while Sampit is ranked 7th city of inflation.
  • Inflation in Palangka Raya (0.08 percent) was influenced by an increase in the price index in the personal care and other services group (0.49 percent), the recreation, sports and culture group (0.46 percent), and the equipment, equipment, and maintenance group. household routine (0.27 percent).
  • Inflation in Sampit (0.54 percent) was influenced by an increase in the price index in the food, beverage and tobacco group (0.97 percent), the transportation group (0.71 percent), and the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group (0. 55 percent).
  • Based on the two reference cities (Palangka Raya and Sampit), Central Kalimantan experienced inflation (0.25 percent), calendar year inflation rate (1.23 percent), and year-on-year inflation rate (1.30 percent).
