Adapting to Technological Developments, BPS Katingan Regency is holding Hybrid Officer Training

Kasongan, 23 January 2024 — The February National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) is one of the routine semester activities which will open the year 2024. The long pre-field implementation process is an essential thing that can influence the output of this survey. One of these activities is officer training.

As a form of adaptation to technological developments, SAKERNAS officer training in February 2024 was carried out online and offline. The online training was held in two days, 20-21 January via Zoom Meeting media, while the offline training was held on 23 January 2024 in the Katingan Regency BPS Office Hall and opened by Mulya Setiawan as Head of the Katingan BPS Office. He hopes that the CAPI system for data collection and online training of officers can maximize the use of technology to simplify the data collection process.

The teaching material is delivered by two regional instructors (Inda) who also act as field inspection officers (PML). This training was attended by six field enumerators (PCL) who would be assigned to various sub-districts/villages in Katingan Regency.
