Sakernas Data Collection February 2025 in Katingan Regency Targets 120 Sample Households

The Katingan Regency Central Statistics Agency (BPS) is currently carrying out data collection for the February 2025 National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas) which aims to collect employment data and indicators. In this implementation, the target sample to be recorded is 120 households. Data collection began with updating household data on January 24 to February 7 2025 and continued with direct data collection on selected sample households from February 8 to 28 2025.

Employment data and indicators obtained from Sakernas have a very important role in supporting the continuity of national development. The results of this data collection will be widely used for planning, monitoring and evaluating government development programs. Several employment indicators estimated through Sakernas include the number of employed people, the number of unemployed, the Open Unemployment Rate (TPT), the Labor Force Participation Rate (TPAK), and various other indicators. The results of data collection in February 2025 will also be the basis for estimating employment figures at the provincial and national levels.

BPS Katingan Regency involves 10 officers who have been well trained to ensure the quality of data collection. BPS also appealed to the people selected as sample households to receive the officers' arrival well and provide honest information, so that this data collection can produce accurate and high-quality data.
